Calvin ~ 3yo Chihuahua (on trial 26/08/16)

Calvin, 3yo Chihuahua, is a sweet little 4kg man, with none of the little dog hang ups. He gets on well with dogs of all sizes and loves just hanging with them. He is not a player, more of the snuggling type. He is very social at our local dog park.

Calvin gets on well with children of all ages. He loves the attention of the little people. He has not been tested with cats or pocket pets, but he is so calm, I can't imagine he would react badly.

Calvin is learning to be house trained as well as basic commands and is going well with his training. Being such a little dude, he needs to sleep inside but is ok outside during the day whilst his foster mum is at work. As long as he has a comfy bed and a four legged pal if he's left alone while his family are at work he is fine. He needs to be welcome inside when people are home

Calvin is not a barker, even if someone is at the door. He does get excited, and jumps up for attention. He is not a fence jumper or a digger, but he will need fencing without small gaps and he could walk through standard pool fencing.

Having been unclaimed at a country pound, we will ever know his history, but Calvin has probably missed out on a lot of things in his young life. He has never learnt to play and is grateful for any attention he gets. But it's not too late, he can learn these things and much more with his forever family.
