About Miley - German Shepherd x Mastiff
My name is Miley. I am a 1 year old German Shepherd X Mastiff girl who is looking for my forever home. I'm a people focused girl - I absolutely love spending time with my family. I'm a big snuggler who enjoys pats and cuddles.
I'm active and bubbly so I would enjoy a family who includes me in daily walks or jogs and who will play games with me. I love a game of tug-o-war and I enjoy chewing squeaky toys. I'm not fussed about chasing balls but I'll happily watch you bring them back if you throw them!
I have been in foster care with a few dogs , I'm good with most of them however I would really prefer a home where I'm an only dog as I can get unsettled being moved to a new home and learning the ropes with new dogs. I am quite happy as an only dog as long as I'm not left outside on my own all day - I'm too social for that.
I have been in foster care with children and I'm great with them . Due to my large size I'm best with older kids, teenagers or kids who are used to large breeds. I enjoy it when kids play games or play in the yard with me.
If you have an active , outdoorsy lifestyle that would suit a social and affectionate girl like Miley, please contact Jo on 0427 695 104 (after hours) or email Jo.payne.aus@hotmail.com , Miley is in foster care in Morriset , NSW (Central Coast) and is not available for adoption interstate.
Miley's adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
