Roy. cat dog and people friendly

Roy is great puppy. He is an Australian Bulldog cross so will be a very large dog.

Energy Level : Because Roy is just a pup, his energy levels are high one minute, then sleeping the next. If the cat wants to play chasey, he is happy to, when the cat is sick of it, he will stop. He loves to follow the big dogs around.

Barking: Will let you know, in the morning, that he needs to go to the toilet. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night

On the lead. Hasn't had a lot of practice, but will willingly follow you anywhere. Maybe a harness to start him off.

Behaviour. He is such a dear little boy. Normal puppy chewing, loves brisket bones which are good for his teeth. Will rip apart the cheap toys to find the squeaker. Will entertain himself with an empty pill bottle., Good boy

House trained: Not yet, but he is getting lots better

Animals: Great with other dogs he is very sociable , and not at all aggressive even if provoked by the cat. Loves male and female dogs. Loves the cats too, anyone that will entertain him

People: Out in public on the lead very sociable, in the house he adores everyone he sees. He is great with children, rarely jumps up on them, doesn't bite at all. Very gentle demeanor.

Being a puppy, he does however like to grab the hem of your trousers occasionally.

Roy is going to be a very big boy. He was born on 30/3/16, and even though he is the runt of the litter, he already weighs in at 12.5 kg. So if you aren't prepared for a 40+ kg bundle of joy, don't bother.

Roy needs to go to a home with another social dog, or a family that is home 90% of the time. Because he is going to be such a big boy, he will only be going to a home that will make sure he had adequate training and socialization.
