TIGGLE, TIGGLE, TIGGLE, TIGGLE, TIGGLES YEAH!!!
Now I have your attention please don’t scroll past this beautiful old senior girl. The old girls need a chance too! Tiggles is a beautiful old senior girl who loves nothing more than a quiet place to relax and a scratch from her human friends. She will climb up and sit next to you or onto your lap if she feels like it once she feels you are to be trusted and then purr her little heart out. Like older human women Tiggles would prefer her environment to be quiet and free from stresses.
Tiggles came to us under sad circumstances. Her human passed away and our poor old Tiggles was taken to the pound in hope of finding someone to take her in. This is when Furry Friends stepped in to give Tiggles a chance to live out her days with a loving family. Not long after Tiggles came into care she fell ill and had to spend some time at the Cat Clinic. It was then we were devastated to discover that Tiggles had contracted Corona Virus but did not have FIP that often goes hand in hand with this virus. What this means that whilst Tiggles is doing well and is feeling better she cannot be mixed with other cats that have not had the virus, as she may be shedding the disease, once again a devastating blow to our old girl as she is also cat friendly.
Do you have a spot for an older girl? She will love you and greet you when you get home with a beautiful little meow when you call her name. She loves to be groomed and will instigate a grooming by licking your hand and then rubbing on it – of course her foster mum does as she is told and grooms this beautiful little lady. Tiggles is currently lonely and wants desperately to spend more time with her people but her current carer also has cats of her own so ‘the cubby’ is currently where Tig is calling home.
As an older girl Tiggles also has a few other health issues that her carer is happy to discuss with anyone who is willing to take on this beautiful older girl so that she can live out her life feeling loved. xo
Medical notes
Tiggles has had tests for digestive issues, but nothing is conclusive, so she is eating a vet prescribed diet of some dried food but mostly raw low fat mince.
This diet will need to be continued after adoption.
