Button (Bec44468)

Cute as a Button.

She's nothing much but fur
And two round eyes of blue,
She has a giant purr
And a midget mew.

She darts and pats the air,
She starts and cocks her ear,
When there is nothing there
For her to see and hear.

She runs around in rings,
But why we cannot tell;
With sideways leaps he springs
At things invisible -

Then half-way through a leap
Her startled eyeballs close,
And she drops off to sleep With one paw on his nose.
