About Tessa
Meet Tessa a GSD X Collie Mix of 15 mths of age. Tessa's previous owner felt that Tessa wasn't getting the time she deserves and has put her up for adoption and is now under the care of Wally's.
Tessa is in foster care as only dog, but loves the company of other dogs. She has never lived with children before, does play with the neigbours children a lot. Tessa is well socialised with other dogs and loves to play with them. Tessa has had no exposure to cats or pockets, so best to say a home without both is required. Tessa sleeps in her kennel in the backyard.
Tessa's personality is described as loving and playful. She has no food aggression towards people and has no dominate behaviour towards other dogs. Tessa plays with her doggie toys and old boots and balls as toys and doesn't appear to have any fears, and ok with storms/lightening.
Tessa attended puppy preschool from 6 to 8 weeks of age and is said to walk well on lead with a chest harness. Tessa has basic obedience of SIT, STAY and COME when called.
The perfect home would be a with a family or with another dog or with someone who his home the majority of the time and will put in the time for training and continue her basic obedience training.
Tessa is desexed and fully vaccinated and worm treated and comes with her medical records. She is micro chipped and registered with council.

Adoption details
When enquiring about Tessa, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions
http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Tessa.
Wally's Doggie Rescue likes all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
