About Aurora
I'm Aurora, graceful and stunning in appearance, but with a little bit of kitten cheekiness and curiosity! I can really strike an elegant pose, but I also love chasing string and playing with other cats. I'm just 2 years old.
My foster mum thinks I was once a loved house cat as I can handle some gentle pats and some human affection every now and then, but I think I was abandoned when I became a very young pregnant cat, so I was forced to grow up as a 'community cat', surviving thanks to various people in the neighbourhood feeding me and letting me chill in their shed. That's where I was rescued from, me and my 4 babies, barely a few hours old. And I had picked up the flu, so all of us were on medication for a few weeks, but me and my babes became super healthy and they have all found their forever homes now. But, having been abandoned and doing life a bit tough, I'm still a little uncertain around people.
I'm a very gentle, chatty girl, and I love other cats and even my foster mums dogs and bunnies. I need a home with someone very patient as I am not yet confident with people. I've come a long way with my foster mum who has been helping me by playing with me and not pressuring me to be patted too much, and she knows FOOD is the key to unlocking my heart! If I'm around patient, gentle people we will become great friends, and I can then sleep at the end of your bed and pose beautifully on your window sills :)
Aurora is in foster care in Altona.
