About Angel
Angel arrived into care as a very frightened little girl and very underweight. However, within weeks she put on weight and started to blossom. She is extremely affectionate and happy to follow you everywhere. She currently lives with 4 other large adult dogs (male and female) and gets on well with all of them, particularly a male kelpie who is around her age. They tear around the yard playing until they fall in a heap. Even with the other female dog in the household, she is affectionate and loving and they will often cuddle up or play together. She can be a little anxious when meeting new dogs but once she realises they won't hurt her, she just wants to be with them.
Angel also loves people. She loves to snug on the lounge, she loves to give you kisses and will do anything for a special treat! Angel is currently under going obedience training with a qualified dog trainer, and improving in commands everyday.
Angel also is happy in the car on trips and tends to lay down and go to sleep (although she is a bit unsure about jumping into the car herself and needs a lift occasionally).
Angel is learning to play since she came into care and enjoys her new toys. Angel is FULLY toilet trained and crate trained. She is fine on lead but can be a bit unsure if in new places. So far, we have found that with only a little exposure to new situations she adjust very quickly.
Angel is a happy girl and now very healthy. She would be best suited to a family with a gentle hand and if there are other dogs, gentle friendly ones would be best. She would be intimidated by a dominant dog. We don't recommend cats for Angel, she has a bit too much interest in them. Also, if you have children, older children would be best suited for Angel as she is a strong little girl. She has almost learnt to not jump up at all (she initially did it all the time).

Adoption details
Please contact Cathy via email only should you be interested in meeting Angel. Wally's Doggie Rescue prioritise applications where you provide a clear indication of the type of home you could provide for our dogs, including Angel. Angel will need to be a dog that continues to be a part of the family, she won't be rehomed to a family where she will be left outside and/or alone all the time. She has really blossomed in rescue and it is important to us (and Angel) that she continues to feel valued and loved as much as possible.
We will need to know about other pets, children, fencing, rental/own home, time the animal will be left alone (eg if you work).
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
