About Toby Appleby
Super cute and with a zest for life that is quite infectious, Toby Appleby embodies everything that is wonderful about little dogs. He LOVES playing; his squeaky toy and his tennis ball are his two favourite things in the world. His equal favourite things are other dogs, walks, sitting on your lap, snuggling beneath your covers at night, running around at the doggy park and pretty much anything else. Toby LOVES being with you – he needs to be and wants to be.
Despite this Toby being a spirited little soul can be a bit of a resource guarder with his food and balls.
Toby can also appear a little macho but underneath is a sensitive boy who can get quite nervous and stressed in new situations particularly when being handled so his new family will need to be aware of that. Toby will benefit most from consistent rules and boundaries and of course lots of love.
Ideally his future family will already have another playful dog with a good yard to play in.
Put the time into Toby Appleby which his former family didn’t and you will have a super little dog.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you too as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
