Ever wanted to welcome a BIG fluffy bunny into your family? Our photographer said that Broccoli is the size of a wombat! She is just brimming with personality - she’s independent, mischievous and curious!

Broccoli has been lovingly raised indoors, enjoying having free roam of the house! She has her own cat tunnel that she loves to run through and dart in and out of.

Broccoli has been socialised with the family dog from a young age and would likely get along with other bunny friendly dogs - definitely not those with a strong prey drive. She hasn’t been socialised with other bunnies so we don’t know if she’s suited to a household with another rabbit.

This independent girl is not really one for being held for long periods of time and does not require a lot of attention to keep her happy. But she does like some loving attention and if she is in the mood for a few good pats she will come up to you, do a circle around you and give you a little nudge with her cute little nose to let you know it’s time for her pats!

Broccoli has a great appetite and is quite the connoisseur! She eats her pellets and she loves her vegies! Her favourite vegetables are rocket and spinach, however carrots, broccoli, cucumber and Chinese greens (bok choy, wom bok) are more than welcome! Never one to skip dessert, Broccoli also loves apple and strawberries as well.

She is toilet trained and uses the kitty litter tray in her rabbit cage. She only has an indoor hutch currently, although she would love to have one in a secure backyard outside too!

A few hours in a plane is absolutely worth it for remotely located animals like Broccoli - it means they have the opportunity to be adopted. To give you an idea, flights to Perth for cats are capped at $50 thanks to QANTAS, so it’s a similar cost for rabbits.
