About Sid *On trial in new home*
Sid is a gorgeous, social boy who loves the company of humans and other animals. He is affectionate, friendly and interactive, keen to be with you as much as possible - he would suit a home where there is someone around to hang out with him, or would be ideal for a hobby farm-type environment or to be a tradie's new best mate.
Sid is currently living in a foster home with another dog, a cat and chickens and although he occasionally chases the cat, he is gentle and friendly with all of them. He is also lovely with kids, though can jump up a little so would need to be supervised around small children as he could knock them over in his enthusiasm.
We can't understand how this stunning boy ended up in the pound and wasn't claimed, but believe it or not that is what happened! Sid doesn't seem to have received a lot of training in his life so far but he is a young, intelligent boy and very quick to learn (he is already picking up the basics easily) so he will need a new family who wants to invest that bit of time getting him up to scratch. On the plus side, he is house-trained!
Sid is a handsome, agile boy who is lovely to be around. He has an active, inquiring mind as well as a fit, energetic body so he will require daily physical exercise as well as things to keep his mind stimulated like toys and food puzzles.
Sid is a real catch. If he sounds like the perfect boy for you, get in touch today - be quick, he won't last!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
