About Zara
Hi there! My name is Zara, and I'm currently in foster care in a family environment with 5 other dogs, me being the youngest. They range in size from small to large and although I love to play and mix with all of them, I can be a bit rough with the little ones. I'm also living with kids, who I absolutely adore but being a young boisterous pup, would be best suited in a home with older kids. I would not suit a home with chickens unless you are prepared to teach me slowly how to live with them and I'm a little unsure about cats.
I'm super friendly and playful, love snuggles with my humans and am proving to be quite a fast learner. I will sit, stay and come on command and learning to walk on leash nicely. I'm toilet trained as long as I have access to outdoors and crate trained at night, sleeping soundly through the night.
Whilst in care, I have shown no food aggression but can sometimes get a little cranky so my big foster brothers help to keep me in line. I do like to try and be bossy with my furry friends, but obviously this is not a good thing because when I do that, I'm told to go in timeout, so will need a good pack leader to continue my training in dog socialisation and manners.
Before arriving into Wally's care, I was an only dog. My foster family understand how much I love to play with my host dogs and they will be looking for a home where I will have an older doggie companion to grow up with, learn from and keep me entertained when my humans need a break. Being a Cattle x, I will be a fairly high energy girl and will need an active family who have the time and patience to train and exercise me.
Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ . So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Zara.
Zara will come microchipped, desexed, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated. She is available for adoption now. Zara is located in Hamlyn Terrace on the Central Coast, NSW.

Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
