About Cherub
Cherub would prefer an only dog home and is okay with cats. His very gentle and loves nothing more than snuggling with his people. And you will always have a lovely happy wag of the tail from this lovely boy as a greeting when you come home from being out.
Cherub’s new home will see him with the company of his person most of the time. He just adores you and wants to be with you or know where you are at all times and would thrive being the only dog in the family.
He is well-mannered and with such a lovely nature. He is housetrained and handles a dog door easily.
Cherub loves to have a sniff and meet and greet with other dogs on a walk. He prefers a quick greeting though and then to move on rather than to spend time with him;.
Cherub is fine with the cats that he shares his foster home with now that he has got used to them. He doesn't bark at or chase them and even lets them come up and sniff and smooch him.
Cherub loves to play ball. He particularly likes it when you kick the tennis ball with your feet along the ground, and he can run and retrieve it. His only challenge is being a bit deaf, so he may not hear you calling unless you are up close. This makes him a sound sleeper and unlikely to be a problem barker. As an older chap, he enjoys his afternoon naps.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you too as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

Unfortunately we usually will not have time to reply to enquiries in more detail and will give priority to completed applications over enquiries. Priority will also be given to typed applications which are easier for us to read and to copy relevant parts.
