Please meet Poppy

Poppy is a very happy-go-lucky little girl who enjoys having fun and learning new things. She gets along well with every one and enjoys the company of the children in her foster home.

She is a very intelligent girl who enjoys absorbing lots of information.
Considering her breed Poppy will be looking for a home where she will receive lots of stimulation and regular exercise.
Being a 'working breed' Poppy would thrive from being involved in herding or agility classes. Obedience classes would also be a huge benefit to her to help her understand what is expected from her and to help her and her new family create a lasting bond.

Poppy is currently in care with her brother and also gets along well with the resident dog. She has a very busy mind and will be looking for a home where she will have a male doggy companion of similar size and energy levels to spend her days with.
POPPY WILL NOT BE SUITABLE TO A HOME AS AN ONLY DOG
She will get very bored and lonely being on her own so for this reason only homes with a male dog will be considered.
Poppy is very intrigued by the resident cat and wants to say hello. She has been taught to be gentle when the cat is on the move so a home with a cat should not be an issue.

Poppy loves being out and about and taking in all the sights, sounds and smells of new places.
She goes for daily outings to the park for a big run and to play with the other dogs. Her carers says she has wonderful recall and comes straight back when called. A large yard/acreage and regular walks or runs will be a must for her to get the stimulation and exercise she will require as she grows.

Poppy currently gets to spend lots of time indoors with her foster family so she can be a part of the action and gets to sleep inside overnight where she feels warm and secure. Poppy will be looking for a home where this will continue for her.
