About Sandy
Sandy has fitted in so well into foster care it's almost like he has been here forever. He has great manners most of the time and loves kids and has been fine with cats. And he gets on great with both dogs he shares the home with.
He sits consistently when asked and is currently learning to drop. He isn't very food motivated so creativity is a must! He loves his crate and sleeps in it every night without complaint. He will let you know when he needs to go out during the night and will go straight back to sleep after.
Car trips are a breeze and he is so calm and quiet you will forget that he is there. He is a dream to walk on lead and is very curious about the world and although at times he is a bit nervous around new sounds or objects he won't hesitate to go and cautiously investigate rather than shy away.
He has had everyone in stitches as he is such a funny character and will be an amazing addition to most families, he loves to play equally as much as he loves to snuggle and will suit a family that will include him in everything.
He will need somebody that has the time to keep him busy and stimulated during the times when nobody is home and understands he will need ongoing training and socialisation.
He won't be suited to a home where he is left for long periods of time and will become bored easily.
