Hi there

Are you after a big teddy bear to add to your family?

Then go no further my name is Bear and I am looking for my new family!

Unfortunately my previous owner has abandoned me that is how I ended up at the RSPCA.

I am a gentle giant who loves human interaction and is happy to cuddle up to people.

Being a big dog means that I am very strong so I will need a guardian that had large breed dogs before and is able to teach me loose lead walking. I am quite food motivated and I have responded well to reward based training techniques here at the shelter. I will need to be walked on a front attached harness to help me stop pulling - it would be better for both of us!

I have been introduced to some dogs here at the shelter but I was quite tense when meeting them on the leash so for this reason I must be an only dog and that means no off-leash dog parks for me either.
