About Puddles (Puddi)
5-6 year old desexed male Lemon Beagle.
Puddi has been an only dog in a large family but unfortunately circumstances have changed and he now find s himself with one owner who works long hours and Puddi is not liking it!
What we want for Puddi .... a home with another dog nice if it was another Beagle but not essential somewhere where their is people around a reasonable amount of time, being able to be part of the family allowed inside and with a regular exercise routine :-)
Puddi Is
Beautiful loving dog. Would like to be around his owner all the time. Except when he's in walking mode, it's all about scents when he's walking.
Sometimes inside. Will settle in the house if everything is quiet. If there's activity in the house, he will wonder constantly and possibly get up to mischief. Has learned that his spot is where he lays. But will occasionally push the boundaries if he is left to his own devices.
Loves to play ball, chasings and go on walks. Is good on lead with an under the chin hitch harness but is not trained to be outside off the lead. He will follow his nose wherever it takes him. Loves a run too.
Likes other dogs, unless they are too big and too full on with him. Likewise, he can be a bit too much for smaller and older dogs. He likes cats too.
Can be a fussy eater. He doesn't like dry food on its own. He likes some dry food with some canned or meat. Loves boiled off the bone chicken, hearts and liver.
Needs a family who will give him attention. Or somebody retired who will dote on him.
Rides ok in the back seat of a car.
He has no issues with fleas or ticks. He has been recently vaccinated and worming is up to date. No health issues.
He puts up with bathing. But he isn't a fan. Will wade into the water at the beach. But doesn't like going in over his belly depth.
Only other thing I can say is that he is a beautiful and lovely dog. He just needs more than his old owner can give
