About Mac (Dog Friendly)
Meet Mac a 1 year old Great Dane X Staghound X Bull Arab.
Mac's owner has moved from the country to the city and can no longer provide the time and space Mac needs to thrive and was surrendered into the care of Wally's Doggie Rescue. He has always been socialised with dogs from a young age, and used to reside with a small dog who he adores. Temperament towards cats is unknown. He is toilet trained and responds to basic commands. Mac has a very sweet and affectionate personality but also enjoys a good rumble. He is energetic and would benefit from an active lifestyle as he has grown up on a farm.
Ideally Mac would flourish in a family environment with a doggie companion, although this is not imperative as he will have no problem being the center of your attention.
If you feel you could provide Mac with the home and loving environment he deserves then please tell us a bit about yourself and how you and Mac would be a good match! Mac is currently located in Lake Munmorah in our kenneling facilities. Mac is socialised daily with other dogs, and enjoys an active lifestyle.

Adoption details
When enquiring about Mac, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.

Wally's Doggie Rescue likes all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
