About Sable Wintergreen
Sable Wintergreen is a beautiful little girl who needs a quiet lifestyle. She is a lovable dog with a happy and enthusiastic nature. Sable will greet you happily but she won’t always come to you and prefers to interact from a safe distance. Although she is incredibly loving and adores your company Sable’s past life as a back yard breeder’s dog has not encouraged her to be a lap dog.
Sable will need to be in a secure property as she does get spooked easily. Fear takes over and she will run for safety and when she does, this little pocket rocket can be hard to catch. Her forever home will be with adults and she will have another dog for company, preferably a small doggy friend. It is important for Sable’s well being that she have company for most of the day. She gets on really well with other dogs and cats and they make her feel more secure.
Sable’s new family will be committed to working with her and her training as well as being patient and kind enabling her to grow in confidence and learn to trust.
Are you the special someone who can give Sable the greatest gift she could ask for? To live life to the full and allow her true personality to shine bright as she so deserves.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you too as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
