About Gilmore
Hi, I’m Gilmore (aka Happy…. Yep, named after the film).
Sure, great things come in small packages… however I’m here to prove that bigger is better, and I’m kind of a big deal!
With me, you get the whole package — a fun, friendly, loyal and loving member of the family that loves to exercise as much as I love to chill out. And yes, there will be the instance that I’ll try to snuggle in your lap for a cuddle, but that’s me!
I don’t bark much, however with me sitting in your front window at your home ... I’m tipping you won’t get any intruders (so that’s the good guard dog box ticked).
If you have other dogs and cats, GREAT! Because I’m fantastic with other company. I’m not the territorial type. I’m sure that I was the poster dog for the 60’s…. Peace, Chill and Groovy.
Do you have kids? I make the perfect playmate for kids – I’m affectionate, gentle, calm natured, child tolerant and extremely loyal. But that won’t be a surprise to you when you get to know me.
I’m desexed but require a final vaccination before I can be safely walked or introduced to unvaccinated dogs. I’m toilet/house trained, however when I’m in a new environment, I may like to claim a few places, so it may be worth keeping an eye on me at the start.
I sit, drop, shake hands and I’m polite around human during mealtimes. I’m an indoor/outdoor dog but would not be suited to a home where I would be left outside or on my own all day. I need to be part of the family and sleep inside where it's nice and warm.
SO, if you’re interested in saving a dog….. pick me! I’ll see you when you pop over… Woof!
