Doc ~ Staffy x (on trial 6/08/16)

Doc is a 15 month old, Staffy cross. He is a sweet and playful young dog. He loves all people including children of all ages, and plays well with other dogs. He loves cuddles, walks, games and training and these make him very happy. He enjoys chewing, and has learned to only chew his toys.

Doc is doing great with training, and responds well to commands including sit, wait, drop it, down, and on your bed! He is progressing well with toilet training. This boy is very smart and a fast leaner, just needs the right family to take him in and invest in training him. You will never regret it and Doc will never forget it, love and cuddles will be coming your way forever!

Doc didn't have the best start to life. When he was surrendered to Dog Rescue Newcastle he was severely underweight and neglected. He did not recognise his own name, let alone a command like sit. In two weeks this amazing little boy is looking great and wagging his tail.

He initially feels worried when he is out outside alone, but he settles down after a short time and is learning that we always come back for him. He is an inside dog whenever someone is home and for sleeping. He hasn't been tested with cats. He ignores our cages birds.

Doc is responding well to his new life and we are looking forward to finding him a loving home where he will be someone's most loyal and affectionate friend.

Doc's adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
