About Hula
The biggest hooligan! Hula got her name from actually doing the Hula. When you pick her up, she gets so excited that her hips wiggle uncontrollably, hence the Hula!
A gentle loving girl who is into everything. Whatever you are doing she has to be there with you helping.... or running away with your items! ;-P If you are putting on socks she will try to take them off you, if you are reading a magazine she will chew on the corner. She is not naughty, just a good helper and will help till she passes out and starts snoring.
If Hula isn't allowed to be involved with the family activities she is an expert at giving puppy dog eyes and your heart melts!
Hula loves to be near people, kids, other dogs or cats. Will wrestle with kittens on the floor. Travels well in the car. She is the smallest of them.
** Please note as a condition of adopting Hula you must be able to bring her for her final vet appointment at one of our vets in either Cheltenham or Boronia.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
