Hi there I'm Sasha. I'm looking for a new family.

I was a bit timid when I first came to the shelter but now I have found that humans are lots of fun. I love to be the centre of attention and enjoy pats and cuddles. I am still quite active despite my 7 years and would love a daily walk to get to know my surroundings. In fact if you like to travel...then so do I. A trip around Australia or maybe a picnic at the beach would be a fun adventure. If not...well a cosy night in with a good movie and some scooby snacks would suit me just fine.

I may be a little nervous when you first meet me and if you have friends over to visit it might take me a few minutes to interact and feel comfortable. So please be a little patient and let me find my own way...it's worth it.
I have met lots of dogs here at the shelter...some I wanted to hang with others...well.....I guess I'm just a choosey lady. If you do have a dog already please allow me to get to know them before deciding to take me home.

I haven't really had any interaction with cats or pocket pets....Im not really sure what they are and I might even like to chase them so it might be best that my new family didn't have these type of pets.
I understand that you cant take me with you everywhere so when I am left at home please give me something to play with or chew on to keep me from worrying about when you will get home. I really like pigs ears or raw meaty bones and maybe a fluffy toy.....is it too much to ask for a squeaky one???
I have had a little operation so you will need to speak to my vet so you can give me the best of care while I recover....it wont be long :-)
