About Freckle (Cat and Dog Friendly)
Looking for a pup who will fit into your life like she’s always been there? Freckle is your girl! Not only is she beautiful in looks, she’s beautiful in nature. At only 4 months old she is an absolute joy, and you can’t help but be given the impression that all she wants in the world is to make you happy. Freckle is a typical young pup, ready and set to explore the world. She’s entering the prime time to continue her socialisation and exposure, both of which she’s had plenty of during her time in foster care.
Freckle is such a sweet little soul. She’ll confidently face anything that’s put before her. She travels well in the car without getting sick or salivating excessively. Totally fine with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and is currently in foster care with a small Pomeranian who she absolutely adores. Whatever the dog, Freckle just wants to play. This love extends to cats, as well as horses and livestock. With all animals she is fine and will happily ignore them, that is, except, for chickens. We will not place her in a home with chickens, so if you have any please do not enquire.
This girl is friends with everyone she meets, and has no issue with new people or new places. Freckle is able to be handled well during grooming, and is fine to be handled during feeding or have her food removed. She takes treats gently from the hand, and shows an excellent responsiveness to training. She is highly food motivated, and combined with her desire to please, results in a dog who will be able to be trained to a high level. She is also fine in her crate, and has displayed some leash reactivity from feeling nervous to see other dogs on lead (barking at other dogs), this is currently being worked on well with her foster carers. Her breed does require a commitment to physical and mental exercise, so potential adopters should express how they intent to meet these needs.
Her adoption fee covers her vaccination, desexing, microchip and flea/worm treatment. All her vet work is completed, so she is just on the lookout for her forever home! If you feel that you could offer an amazing home in which this amazing dog could flourish, please send through an email with some details regarding your living circumstances and why you feel that Freckle could be a good match for you!

When enquiring about FRECKLE, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home (Permission from your landlord a MUST), what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ . So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and FRECKLE.
