About Chiquitita
You want the truth? Chiquitita, or Chiqi to her friends, is just about the best cat that’s ever walked through her foster careers doors. With stunning looks, beautiful disposition and striking eyes, only the perfect home will do for this darling girl. She originally came from a country pound, where she was extremely skinny weighing only 2.4kg. Since being in care, she’s absolutely thrived, and has shown nothing but love despite all she has been through. In fact, her first night home was spent sharing my pillow.
Chiqi is true to her Burmese breed, as she’s currently sitting on my lap as I write this. Wherever you are, she wants to be. When I need to get to work and can’t exactly have a kissy cat in my lap, I have a side bed for her beside the computer that she’ll gladly curl up in. Aside from her love of all people, her second greatest love is food. She’s gained weight well since being in care with us, and is fed multiple small meals a day to avoid upsetting her tummy. One of her most unique features is her left ear, which we call her ‘wonky ear’. It’s usually to the side, and has a few odd long tufts of hair on it. It certainly adds to her character!
Her kitten zoomies are absolutely infectious in their joy. She’ll run around batting at invisible enemies, rolling around on the ground before taking off again. She’ll play with cat toys and loves anything that can be dangled for her to play with on string. A window ledge is a perfect source of entertainment as well. This little cat gets along well with dogs, gladly sleeping beside them or following them around the house. She is good with children and has no handling issues, but care should be taken due to her smaller size.
Chiquitita’s adoption fee covers her vaccination, desexing, microchip and flea/worm treatment. If you feel that you can offer a dream home for this dream cat, please send through an email with some details about your living situation and why you think this beautiful girl would be a good match with you. Chiquitita would be best suited to a household with children over 12 years, and an INSIDE ONLY CAT. Due to a rough past and a life on the run Chiquitita does to try to escape through open doors and windows, and her new home will have to vigilant making sure she stays inside.

Adoption details
Please contact Amanda via EMAIL and give us some indication of the type of home that the gorgeous CHIQUITITA would have with you. I am interested in such things as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the CHIQUITITA, and whether you own or rent your home (Landlord agreement will need to be seen by us), how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel CHIQUITITA is the cat for you.
