About Titan
Titan has recently come in to our care from a pound. He is a beautiful white color with a plushy coat. His coat will shed and will require regular grooming.
Titan is just a giant, cuddly puppy. He loves to run and bounce around with people or dogs.
Despite his breed, Titan isn't very high energy. He loves to run and will need space, but doesn't keep going and going and going. In fact, he tires pretty easily!
He would make a fantastic family pet. He is highly sociable and loves people. He gets on very well with dogs and is fine with cats but should be supervised with them as he forgets his size. I would not recommend Titan for a family with young children, as he does get excited and throws his weight around.
He is still learning good manners. He is confident and outgoing, accepting all new situations with his head held high. He travels beautifully in the car with no sickness, he simply lays down quietly. It was a 4 hour trip to get him home from the pound and he never made a peep, never had an accident.
Titan knows sit and down on command, but sometimes is a bit too excited to hold the position, and is learning recall nicely. He is good on leash and does not pull.
What Titan loves the most is getting attention. He will roll onto his back very quickly to let you rub his belly.
The pound put Titan at 2-3 years old, but after meeting him I feel he is between 1 - 1 1/2 years old.
He can be vocal and will chat to you, not he is not loud.
*** PLEASE NOTE *** All other animals that appear in Titan's photos are not available for adoption. They are all resident animals.
Medical notes
Titan is being desexed on the 22nd, and will be ready to go home after the 2nd of August.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
