Barney

This little cutie is Barney

Barney is a very happy boy who loves his cuddles and affection. He is a little shy to begin with but settles very quickly once he knows he is safe.
He loves the company of his people and will happily curl up with on your favourite chair to watch a good movie and then snuggle up on your bed with you where he will feel warm and secure.
He craves love and will happily give it in return.

Barney gets along well with other dogs of similar size. He has a great time playing with them and is starting to learn his boundaries and how to behave with them. He would love to find a home with another dog to spend his days having fun with.
Barney seems to be very timid around cats. He is unsure of them and they make him quite nervous so he would settle better in a home where there are no cats.
He hasn't been around children but he does have a very gentle nature so we don't think it would be too much of a problem as long as the children understand that dogs need their personal space.

Barney enjoys being out and about and loves his trips in the car and going for regular works to check things out and smell all the trees he passes.
We don't think Barney previously had the privilege of being allowed indoors so his carers are still working on his toilet training and he is starting to get the idea to go outside when he needs the toilet .
He has very nice manners when he is indoors and will have a little play and then sit down quietly with the family

Barney is a real pleasure to be around and we know he will be a great addition to his new family as long as he is given a bit of time to adjust and feel at home.
