Dashi ~ mini Dachshund (on trial 21/09/16)

Dashi is a gorgeous, energetic, little, female, miniature Dachshund x, approximately 12 months old. Dashi is looking for a home with some children or another small doggy friend to play with. She will need someone home alot and people that can continue with her training as she had little to none before coming into care.

Dashi loves her food and enjoys treats and bones (she's not fussy with food at all). She has started to learn to fetch and she loves playing with her stuffed animals. She gets along well with adults and children of all ages though she can get a little jumpy and excited if she hasn't seen anyone for a few hours.

Dashi is currently living with a toddle who she is very gentle with & other dogs - she gets along fine with them but she isn't suited to a house with cats or pocket pets. She has improved alot with her toilet training but still has an occasional accident every now and then. She loves her daily walks and visits to the dog park. She shouldn't be off lead until she has had further training to teach her to return when called.

Dashi is known to be a little explorer and likes to escape, so she will need extremely secure high fencing to ensure she is safe at all times.

Dashi is only small (around 5.5kg) so will only go to a home where she is allowed to sleep and live indoors. She is most happy when she's by your side inside, chilling on the lounge or bed or lazing around or keeping you company in the garden,. She is also a great alarm dog and will let you know if someone is around or at the door. Dashi will make a great addition to a family that can give her the love and attention she needs.

Dashi's adoption fee is $500 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
