About Mr Marcus
Marcus is a young fellow looking for his forever home. Do you enjoy daily walks?
Marcus will be turning two this Christmas and we would love him to be settled into his forever home by then. When Marcus came into the care of Mini's Bulldog Rescue Club we were first contacted about an 'Aussie Bulldog' needing rescue, but we weren't going to turn him away even though he doesn't much look like an Aussie Bulldog. From what we understand Marcus is a handsome mix of Bulldog, Boxed & Smithfield Cattledog.
Marcus has lots of energy and would love to walk with you daily. But given the chance Marcus will also love to curl up with you in front of the TV.
Marcus displays good manners and obedience skills, and is a quick learner. He walks well on a lead and doesn't pull, and shows social agility with other dogs.
Marcus needs an owner who can control his excitement, teach him structure and show dedication to his training - as he's still a pup - so that he grows into a fine mature dog. Marcus was failed by his first owners and had some kind of trauma which means he doesn't like to share his food.Marcus' previous foster carer fed him separately and then this wasn't an issue.
Marcus would best be suited to a new home where any kids are 12+ as he can be excitable. A decent sized yard with secure fencing is also a must for all dogs adopted from MBRC.
Marcus is located in Sydney, and a meet and greet is essential to help determine if you would be a great match! Please get in contact with MBRC if you would like to adopt Marcus
Medical notes
Marcus is a happy healthy young dog, desexed and up to date with everything

Applicants will be assessed in terms of best suitability for the dog. A meet & greet and yard inspection are essential parts of the screening process.
The first 2 weeks for every adoption is a trial period to ensure that both the dog and family are a good match. And once everyone is happy the dog's microchip will be changed across to the new family.
