About Pippa ~ fox terrier x kelpie puppy (Trial 28/7/16)
Pippa is a small/medium, female, fox terrier x kelpie puppy, aged 6 months. Pippa has a beautiful temperament, she gets on well with dogs of all sizes and loves to play. She loves her walks and toys but will happily curl up and have a cuddle, in fact she needs her down time with her owner to have a cuddle as she is very affectionate.
Pippa is house trained and lets us know when she is needs to go out. She can sit when asked and will sit for her dinner with ease. She is very smart and easy to teach new things. Pippa is in excellent health and has nearly lost all her puppy teeth which are also in great condition as they are coming through.
Pippa would suit a home with or without other dogs. She is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home and after dark and to sleep inside at night. She is great with children. She hasn’t yet had an experience with a cat.
Pippa doesn’t bark but doesn’t being locked in a room, ie laundry, bathroom. She frets when she is locked up but is perfectly fine to be left on her own inside. She doesn’t chew our belongings but she does like to carry shoes around the house.
Pippa is very easy to feed as she doesn’t turn her nose up to anything, she loves her ‘fuzzyard flea’ toy the most and enjoys playing tug-of-war with it with my Staffy x. She hasn’t yet got the hang of fetch but she enjoys any time you spend with her.
Pippa would suit a home where she has plenty of human interaction, a daily walk and to live predominantly inside. She is a very clever, loving and perfectly natured little girl who would love to go home with someone who will adore her like we do.

Pippa's adoption fee is $400 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
