About Liberty
Liberty came to us from a country pound as a very thin malnourished girl. She is a petite or compact kelpie obviously bred with a dog of a smaller size.
When she arrived, she was taken to get a health check where we noticed she had enlarged nipples, with milk. Thinking she had already had a litter recently, and this is why she was so thin we decided to give her an ultrasound just in case. To our supprise heart beats were heard.
She was taken into foster care given as much love and nourishment as possible. A few weeks later she gave birth to 3 very sweet puppies. She was an amazing mum and we were thankful that there was only 3 as she was so thin it was hard work for her to give them all what they needed.
It is now time for Libby to find her own loving family. She is a shy girl who really needs someone who will be gentle with her and take that journey of growth with her. She is in foster care with a family, with two young children and another dog. She has very basic obidience, but is keen to learn and loves being rewarded for getting it right. We know Libby will blossom in the most caring loving environment and become the most loyal adored family pet.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
