On Hold
Like all pets cats require of some basic needs. It is best to set them up with a good quality adult diet fresh water available at all times a soft bristled brush a soft bed a litter box and a lot of love and care.
Cats in will play with almost anything. One important caution is don't let your cat start to associate your hands with a play toy. Doing so can develop into bad habits of scratching and biting fingers. Hands are for holding stroking and gentle hugs. Toys are for rough play.
Most cats will quickly learn to use a litter box. Make sure the box is not right next to the feeding station. Above all keep the litter box clean.
The best way for an owner to promote a long and healthy life for their pet is to provide an enriched indoor environment including a scratching post a variety of stimulating toys and human interaction.
Be sure to praise them profusely for being a good cat.
