About Ben
Are you looking for a placid good natured and social German Shepherd dog and don't mind a mix of Golden Retriever with Shepherd then meet our Ben.
Ben was collected by a Ranger and brought into a Sydney Animal Shelter now we thought someone has to own this gorgeous boy he was such a good natured dog, in excellent health and with manners to boot.
But sadly Ben was never reclaimed by his owner and we immediately took him into care. Well Ben enjoys his walks and would benefit from a home where his human is home with him as he does fret if left for long periods of time. He has claimed his spot in front of the fire on his doona dog bed and wanders around keeping an eye on whats happening but he is not a barker but does enjoy inclusion in the home.
An occasional woof to say hello and a meander around the yard and Ben is happy. Mind you he does like to have his toys around him and wants to have playtime with his fellow rescue dogs. So he is not a couch potato he does enjoy life and wants human company.
He has eyed the resident cat off and did give chase when it ran away so best not to go to a home with a cat.
So if you are looking for a gentle and placid friend for a mature aged dog then Benny fits the bill. House trained, voice responsive and well mannered this gentle dog needs to find a loving home for the next phase of his dogs life.
