Leo ~ 1yo Border Collie X boy (on trial 3/09/16)

Leo is a confident, happy 1 year old Border Collie boy. Leo is a people person (well, dog really) who loves cuddles and affection.

Leo is very smart, agile and quick to learn. He knows the basics like sit, drop, shake and fetch, but will need someone to continue his training in the manners department as he’s still a puppy. He can jump and zone out a bit when he is excited so he would be better with older kids.

Leo loves trips in the car and has energy to burn, so he would love to find himself an active family that will include him in their adventures and also walk/run him daily. He can pull on the lead when walked so he does need a bit more practice at that. His favourite game is fetching the ball and he also loves running around the backyard.

Leo can be homed as an only dog or with a female companion. Leo is currently homed with a cat (though he doesn’t get along with all cats) and is socialized with other dogs regularly. We are not sure how he would get along with pocket pets.

Leo currently sleeps outside and doesn’t mind too much being home alone when his family are at out. Leo is hoping to find a loving and active family who will give him lots of walks, cuddles and ball throwing.
