About Libby
Libby is now looking for her forever home.πΎπΎ
My name is Libby. ππ
I have been in foster carer for a few months now.
When I came into care I was on heat :( so the rescue had to wait 2 weeks after my season before I could be desexed. I have already had a few litters, and am really thankful that I will not have anymore puppies.πΆπΆ Time for me now.
And the bad luck continued for me, lucky I am brave.
Then I was playing with one of the other dogs and I got a scratch on my face that turned into an abysses the size of a ping pong ball.
I'm very brave n sat very still while the lovely nurse drained my face on 2 different days.
After my 2nd visit I went home with a plastic drain coming out of my face. But I'm a good girl n very brave. I didn't complain.
After I was desexed I had to go back into surgery to have half of my breast removed as the vet said they found I had breast cancer. The vet also found 3 kidney stones and a mass in my stomach.
I don't remember this as I was asleep but when I woke up I had another 40 stitches.
But I am a brave girl. I have learn't how to use a doggy dog, to sit n to am gentle with food most of the time.
I need to be on a special diet so I don't get kidney stones again. My foster mum has found that Hills dog food is best for me and it tastes a lot better then the other brand.
All the cancer has been removed and I am now in good health.
Now I'm ready to meet my new family.
I would prefer to be an only dog but am with 2 other submissive dogs at the moment I'm fine most of the time.
I haven't seen a cat before so I don't know if I like them.
I love sitting outside in the sun n I love sleeping at the end of the bed. I love humans lots π
I do stress a little when everyone goes out but I'm getting used to it now.
I dont need a huge yard, just an owner with a big heart πΎπΎπΎ

Adoption details
If you should chose to adopt a dog from SEQ K9 Rescue..
You will be asked to complete an adoption application.
Completing this form helps us to determine if the dog is suited to your circumstances. Some dogs have special needs so we are looking for the perfect forever home for all of our dogs needs.
After you have completed and returned the adoption application we decide if you are a good match for the dog you are applying for. Sometimes we may recommend another dog we have in our care.
Next we will arrange for your to meet the dog/puppy.
We ask that bring along your family and any other animals you have in your household. A yard check (or yard photos) will be checked and only then will approval be considered.
Please remember sometimes there are several applications for the same dog so this process may take up to a week.
The adoption fee must be paid before any of our animals are released from our care.
We also offer a 2 week trial period - if you have any issues with your chosen dog/puppy you must contact SEQ K9 Rescue via text immediately.
If for any reason the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus a $50 non refundable deposit will be kept by the rescue. Your refund will be returned via bank transfer within 10 working days.
If the pet is returned after the trial period generally no refund will be made.
Interstate adoptions may be requested to supply additional information and photographs of the proposed environment for the animal. Interstate adopter must pay transport costs in addition to the adoption fee.
If an animal is to returned from an interstate adoption, the adopter is to pay all costs to return the animal to SEQ K9 Rescue in Brisbane..
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
