Chile is a gorgeous, smoochy dog with a big smile. He's great with new people and loves everyone he meets. He is a big boofy boy with a strong waggy tail, so would be best suited with children over 10 years of age. He is great with all dogs but hasn't been tested with cats.
Chile is a Border Collie mix with Mastiff facial features, a broad chest and long legs. Chile will grow to be quite a big boy.
Everyone comments on how handsome he is – he’s a real head turner. He’s very loyal and will want to spend time with his family however doesn't mind spending the day at home chasing bugs and his fur mate.
Chile is an active and incredicably smart boy who likes nothing more than to stretch his long lanky legs at the beach, park or at home with a furry friend companion.
At just 9 months old, Chile is very intelligent and knows all the basic commands but like all puppies, he will require ongoing training as he gets older.

Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
Harvey Dog Training supports SHARI and has kindly offered to provide our adopted animals 30% off training/obedience classes. If you are keen to enrol your new puppy/dog please mention this in your email to us!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application must be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer. You must bring your dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. The animal must not be taken on the day unless prior arranged (travelling over a 2 hr round trip). If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment details will be given, this can take 2-3 days to finalize before the meet & greet so please give time.
4. 10 day trial period commences
5. Adoption is finalized after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
