About Rex II
Meet Rex! Two years young and just the biggest baby! Rex loves to play fetch and is OBSESSED with balls. He loves going for swims and enjoys mingling with other dogs.
Rex is dog friendly, getting used the idea of cats but may be best if you don't have one and people friendly (however can be a bit scared of new people). He definitely takes a while to warm up to people especially males. He is absolutely harmless and is a big sook.
Rex was neglected because he used to constantly bark. This was because he was always kept outside away from the family. Like any animal should be Rex wants to be apart of YOUR family. Being in foster care Rex has been a gem inside, he literally follows you around the house like a shadow, wherever I go he goes and just sits there, he is currently under the process of toilet training as he wasn't an inside dog before so this is all a bit new to him.
Being a working line and intelligent dog he needs an owner who is willing to put in the time and dedication that he needs. He knows his basic commands such as sit, drop, stay and shake. He is kid friendly however he tends to jump on you so that is something that needs to be corrected at the time. Due to his obsession with balls he can be a bit ball aggressive which is another thing that needs work.
Rex has had some basic training but would certainly do well with more.
So if you have owned a German Shepherd before and understand their needs and their degree of intelligence and have the time and commitment to take on a young and very alert male shepherd, then please contact Linda.
Medical notes
Rex is located at Campbelltown and is a desexed dog, and is fully vaccinated and microchipped.
