About Gingerbread
Gingerbread arrived at our shelter for the first time in 2013. He was adopted, but was returned in 2014. He was then adopted a second time, yet once again finds himself looking for a new home. He is returning on July 15th because he is hard work being in a unit with carpet, and his mum can't help getting mad at him, which she doesn't feel is fair to the poor guy.
Gingerbread (who has actually been called Churchill for the past two years) is a giant bunny. He is very overweight at the moment, and could really do with a diet. The below description is from when he was previously listed. This boy is still a sweetie, he is just really big, and a lot older than when he first arrived at the shelter all those years ago. It's quite upsetting seeing animals passed around like this, please make sure if you adopt the big fella that it's a home for life. Every animal and child deserves a forever family. More recent photos will be uploaded when they become available, images used are from original listing.
Gingerbread's History:
Gingerbread was found as a stray and taken to a vet clinic, where he waited to be adopted for a couple of months before arriving at the shelter. He had a terrible case of mites which the vets spent a lot of time treating, but he is now free from all parasites, has had all his vet work, and is ready to move on from his rough past.
Gingerbread is a big boy, and races over to greet you. He likes pats and is easy to handle, despite his size.
