About Alfie ~ Border Collie X Kelpie (on trial 16/12/16)
Alfie is a gorgeous 6 month old, Male Border Collie x Kelpie puppy. He will grow up to be a medium sized dog.
Alfie is a beautiful boy and loves to play and have lots of puppy cuddles. Alfie is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside.
Alfie's perfect forever home would have a doggie companion for him, he loves other dogs and would not cope being an only dog.
Alfie will need 6ft colourbond fencing just in case he grows up to be a good jumper. He will need exercise and being a clever boy, will enjoy training brain stimulating activities such as food puzzles, toys and games.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
