About Hunter
Hunter was saved from Singleton Pound after spending 3 weeks in there and is just a baby. His first night of freedom was spent snuggled up in a warm bed and cuddled by his foster carer. Hunter is just the sweetest little man and is very much enjoying his life outside of the Pound. He is currently in care with 7 other dogs of all ages and sizes and gets along well with all of them. He adores children and will engage in playtime with them, especially when toys are included in the fun.
This gorgeous boy is super snuggly, excellent with children and adults, fantastic with other dogs and quite submissive to them. He would make a fantastic family dog where he was included in outings to the beach, park and social events. He loves his humans and will do just about anything to please you.
Hunter is currently being toilet trained, will sit on command, walks well on leash and is now a pro at using the doggie door. He has not shown any food aggression at all since coming into care and happy to share his toys with whoever else wants to play with them. His best friend in care is his foster sister Tink who is also looking for a home of her own. Hunter and Tink will happily wrestle, chase, play tug o war or get up to some mischief together before snuggling up together for a snooze to recharge the batteries.
We believe that Hunter would benefit greatly by having an older, well trained dog to look up to and help with his training. He will need plenty of chew toys and toys/games to stimulate his active mind so that he doesn't get bored and become destructive. He would not cope well with being an only dog where he would be left for long periods of time on his own.
Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ . So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Hunter.
Hunter will come microchipped, desexed, vaccinated (1st & 2nd), wormed/heartwormed and flea treated. Hunter is located in Blue Haven, on the Central Coast NSW.
Medical notes
