About Zander
Meet Zander, a 14 month old, Am Staffy X who was busted out of Gosford Dog Pound, by Wally's Doggie Rescue. Zander is located in Kincumber on the Central Coast in foster care.
Zander is in foster care in a family environment. Although he isin't currently living with kids, he does have regular child exposure. Zander is dog friendly, although does get excited. Zander is toilet trained
and can sleep inside or outside the home.
Zander is described as very playful! Loves tug-a-war toys and squeaky toys and loves catching balls. Zander loves people and other dogs. He has had a few play dates with other dogs and has always gotten on well. Zander is a huge fan of the hose! Zander loves being walked. He is also happy to play in the yard. Sometimes he will play fetch, other times he will entertain himself with his toys. He often loves to sleep in the sun on his deck chair. Zander loves all food, even fruit and vegetables!
Zander will sit on command for food but needs more training when sitting before crossing a road. He has good recall in the yard but has never been off leash whilst in foster care. Zander has had no formal training, but is food motivated and quick learner.
The perfect forever home would be anything from a normal house block to a big property on acres. A home with other dogs would be great for him! Zander is good when left alone and has no separation anxiety so he can be adopted to a full time worker.

Adoption details
When enquiring about Zander, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home (Permission from your landlord a MUST), what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ . So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Zander.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
