About Max ~ Border Collie x Kelpie puppy (Trial 01/8/16)
Introducing Max The lovable, 10 week old, Male Border Collie x Kelpie puppy.
Max is a quiet and shy little boy who loves his puppy cuddles. Max is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside.
Max will require regular walking and housing with 6ft colourbond fencing with plenty of room to run around. Please note applications with residences that have rural fencing will not be considered.
Max is not yet trained, and we always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
For more information or to meet Max, please contact his foster carer Nicole on 0481 750 807 or email foxhurley2012@gmail.com Max is in foster care in Cameron Park, NSW (20 minutes from Newcastle) and is not available for adoption interstate.
As Max is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens as he will need to be returned to one of our vets for desexing when he’s 5 months old.
Max’s adoption fee is only $600 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
