About Wilma
*Please note - Wilma would like to be an only cat but would be happy living with a small, friendly dog.*
I might sound like I’ve smoked a pack a day for 30 years, but my raspy meow is as alluring as it is adorable and you simply will not be able to resist it!
I’m an extremely intelligent lady who enjoys routine and structure, and I’m looking for a companion who will respect and embrace my ‘quirks’!
For an older girl, I’m doing pretty well, except for a little regurgitation issue that my nurse-servant-person will tell you about in the ‘medical’ section.
My interests: They are broad and varied, but one of my favourite activities is tap drinking! Bathroom taps are preferable, but a kitchen tap can also do the job. I just like a little trickle to lick and to tickle my nose!
I also enjoy the occasional lick of a plastic packet or bag. Do you find that weird? I know, it sounds a little weird. But don’t worry, I’m not going to eat your stuff, I just like the way it feels and tastes on my tongue ;)
My skills: Are you always running late? Need someone to keep you on schedule? Choose Wilma for all your punctuality needs! I will sooth you from your slumber with my raspy, dulcet meow and should this not rouse you, I will dance you awake!"
My ideal match: I guess what I’m really looking for is a retirement companion. Someone who is settled, a bit set in their ways, and doesn’t mind that I am too!

Medical notes
Wilma goes to her new home desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated.
Wilma has recently had a major dental and a professional clip. She has a heart murmur, but despite this, did very well with her surgery. Wilma has a raspy meow and occasionally regurgitates her water (tap drinking seems to help with this and her forever home will need to have a suitable "Wilma drinking tap" and be happy to turn it on a trickle, morning and evening!) Wilma has had multiple tests for her regurgitation, including Barium x-rays and no cause has been found. Her new home will need to be aware and accepting of this, as we see no reason to put her through more tests when tap drinking and a suitable bowl seems to mostly keep it in check.
