Squeak

Little “Squeak” is a young semi-tame Rainbow Lorikeet who is looking for a forever home.

 “Squeak’s” age is unknown but he has been DNA tested and is a male. He has also had blood tests and is clear from any diseases including Beak and feather disease (psittacine circoviral disease)

 Since being in care Squeak has gradually become tamer, having learnt to step up onto fingers and accept head and neck scratches (which are most favored) and has a very good prospect of further training.

 “Squeaks” wings are clipped and beak trimmed prior to coming to us, so an enclosure or environment that will cater for this is required.

 “Squeak” thrives amongst natural enrichments and flora (Such as native plants and wattle) as a regular addition to his/her environment

 “Squeak” is still a little shy around people and can be hesitant at times to explore new environments.
