Buster

Buster is a 1 year old Border Collie X. We are unsure what he’s crossed with – however it is only something small. His surrender notes from his original owner stated that he is a Border Collie X Cavalier King Charles. Buster is only 12kgs and isn’t going to really grow any bigger.

Buster and his sister Posdum were surrendered to a local pound by the woman that bred them due to having issues with having too many dogs on her property. They were very scared in the pound environment, so Farmdogz Rescue was contacted to ask if we could take them on, hoping they’d be better in a foster home environment. Sure enough, they immediately came out of their shells and thrived.

They are gorgeous little pups who are very sweet and playful. In their time in foster care, they have played with a number of different dogs and got on with everyone.
Buster hadn’t had much formal obedience training prior to his surrender so she has had that started in his foster home and is picking up things very quickly.

He grew up with small farm animals (goats, chickens etc) along with cats, dogs and guinea pigs. He is a little shyer than his sister and sometimes is a little headshy when meeting a new person if they try to approach him too suddenly. When his sister approaches someone to cover them in kisses, he will vie for your attention along with Possum. Of course, this is only initially and as he has had such a big up haul in his life recently, it is very understandable that he is a little unsure. As soon as he knows you, he is very smoochy and is an absolute sweetheart. We would love for him to be adopted soon, so he can start growing a bond with a new family who will show him the unconditional love he truly deserves!
Buster has been vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated and desexed and is up to date with fleaing and worming.
