About Oscar
Oscar is our miracle cat. The smallest of his litter and a survivor of four months of roaming which ended with a tiger snake biting him in November 2017. Recovered and back to his vital and affectionate self, he is special in many ways. He has a sensitive nature but knows how to take care of himself. You will wake up with him next to you every morning but he needs quite a bit of time on his own. He is absolutely gorgeous; a ginger with perfectly symmetrical markings, neat white feet and liquid amber eyes. NOTE: He may have health issues down the road as a result of his encounter with the snake and his toileting is not perfect; he goes into the box but doesn't always get all his business done inside the box. He needs a supportive household that is willing to accept the occasional mishap while working with him to improve; a quiet household with an enclosed outdoor space for him, room for him to be on his own when he craves it (which he does) and probably just has him as the only cat although he has tolerated the resident cat in his foster home. He loves kissing you and being stroked and his fur is like silk to touch. A beautiful cat who will be a wonderful addition to the right household.
Adoption details
After seeing an animal you are interested in we ask you to fill out an adoption expression of interest form which tells us a bit about you, your lifestyle and any previous pets. A meet and greet is then organised for you to meet your prospective new furry friend and if all goes ok, you are then able to adopt your new furry housemate.
