About Winnie
Winnie is a beautiful girl with a gorgeous personality. She is very loving and sleeps on the lounge during the day and on her bed inside at night. Winnie is great walking on lead and loves her twice a day outings to the dog park where she plays happily off leash. Winnie fetches balls and sticks and loves lots of toys. She also enjoys the beach and is great in the car and around other dogs she doesn't know. Winnie is also good around kids and plays fetch happily with the carer's seven year old stepdaughter. Because she is a medium to large size dog she would be best suited to a house with children severn years or older and a family who will walk her and include her in family activities. Winnie is used to grooming but gets a bit anxious at the vets although she responds wonderfully to treat training and gentle commands. Her carers love her but know she needs more space than they can give her in their inner city terrace. A home with a large yard for her to run in and active owners that will take her out would be ideal. A happy doggy companion in the home would also be a great play buddy. Winnie has displayed some signs of separation anxiety in care however she has improved greatly with lots of love and patience and owners that work some time from home or are recently retired would be best for her.
