About DF01 Shelby
Shelby is a large sized dog with a beautiful nature.
She is currently living as the only dog in a loving family home, and loves to go for a ride in the car. She also enjoys to have a play at the dog park with other friendly dogs. She enjoys playing fetch for hours on end.
Shelby is good to take for a walk, sits when asked to get her lead on. She can be a bit excited for the first few minutes but settles down quickly once she is off on a walk.
Shelby knows most basic commands, sit, stay, paw and occasionally drop and she will also wait and shake paws for her food too.
Shelby is a bit clumsy at times due to her size, so we recommend that she goes to a home with children 12 years and older. She just forgets that she is large and can knock small ones over.
Shelby is not a fence jumper. She is currently an indoor and outdoor dog, but she really just wants to be where ever you are!
She is getting so great with her recall, and is now fully toilet trained at her carers home, and due to her size, her bed is the lounge at night.
She really would make a wonderful addition to a loving home with older children.
Please note : Shelby is wearing a boundry collar in one of her profile photo's. This is not required anymore.
Medical notes
Shelby has been desexed, microchipped vet health checked and vaccinated with a C5 vaccination. Shelby will be up to date with flea and worm treatments at the time of adoption.
Shelby has a really long tail, the tip does get knocked around a bit so it is advised that she needs to be in open or spacious areas so it doesnt get knocked against the walls etc. another option is to have the tip or part of it removed (shorten the tail).
