About Neil & Miss Zeus
Neil and Miss Zeus are brother and sister and haven't been separated since they were born 4 years ago so if possible (but it’s not essential) we're looking for a home where they can stay together. Miss Zeus is an avid ball lover with special skills of being able to fit several in her mouth at one time. Neil is a little more like the Great Dane you tend to read about were after fetching the ball 5 or 6 times is happy to have a rest and watch. They are accustomed to plenty of space on property where they can run and play. If they were to come into a home on a more suburban sized block, Miss Zeus would require at least one long walk a day plus some ball time at the other end of the day. Miss Zeus is a clever girl who loves challenges and being active. She is of much higher energy than Neil who is more than happy with a daily walk and lots of cuddles and couch time.
They've recently learned to walk on lead. This has only been practised in a rural setting or the odd trip out although we don’t expect either to have too much trouble adapting to suburban life. Over the years they've had a number of friends come to visit and love to play with the regulars. Outside of this, socialisation has been quite minimal. We are looking for a home that doesn't have other small animals or poultry and in particular for Miss Zeus who has quite the prey drive.
Miss Zeus and Neil would both be fine with older high school age children but haven't grown up with little kids and Neil's play style may prove to be a little rough. These guys are used to sleeping together in an enclosed garage and up until recently have very rarely had the luxury of coming inside to spend extended time. They would simply adore to be inside/outside dogs to enjoy as much human company as possible.
This pair would also like me to mention that they'd love a swimming pool. Not a little half clam shell but a full size pool or dam as they are accustomed to taking themselves for a dip to cool off in summer or jumping in after a ball. If you or someone you know has a big space at their home and a big space in their heart for either or both of these giant siblings please get in touch.
