About Harley
I am about 10 weeks old. I am a Kelpie X, but Im not sure who my dad was! I think he may have been a smaller dog like a JRT! I am mainly black with a white patch on my chest. I love playing with toys and playing with my foster family (dogs and human).
Harley is cheeky and sweet all in one breath! If you cuddled her once I'm sure you will fall in love forever.
Harley enjoys playing with her brother and also with the other foster dog of the house an 11 month old Koolie.
With the right guidance, Harley will grow into an active, smart and loyal dog.
To adopt Harley we will want to know that you yard is secure, and we would encourage you to attend your local dog obedience
classes, starting from a puppy to make sure she is well socialised.
** As a condition of adopting Harley you will need to be able to bring her back for her final vet appointment with our vet in either Boronia or Cheltenham.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
